Yes, all functions at the steinfein.org freedom site are free to use. There is however also a Members Only section. In order to use all of our functions (video chat, full screen games, polls, youtube browsing, etc.), some of which are strictly visible in the Members Only section, it's necessary to join and become a member of steinfein.

That's probably because you're not filling out the form properly. If you enter the identical information in both, Hobbies & Interests, your account will not be approved. If you enter spaghetti text, in other words junk that makes no sense whatsoever, your account will not be approved. Any real person or entity who creates an honest account at Steinfein.org with plans to actually use their account will have no problem joining this site. We do take steps to prevent spammers and jerks from joining though. Enforcing a proper sign-up procedure is one of those steps.

Yes and no! We're currently not placing limits on the amount of uploaded files, but there is a limit to the amount of space that your account may use. It's a pretty generous limit though. Keep in mind that large video files take a very long time to upload. You already have full access to Youtube & Global Videos here. There's also a limit to the type of files that may be uploaded since we do not plan on having www.steinfein.org used as a file repository for anything and everything. Just photos, videos, songs, blogs, and graphics. Other types of files need to be kept where they belong ... on your own hard disk!

When you click on the main category of a topic such as photos, sounds, or videos you'll also see your own albums, or a note that you don't have any content in your albums. There'll also be a prompt, something like "click here to add an album" or perhaps "click here to add more content" in order to help you out. It's all set up in a very user friendly way, you'll see.

No, not at all. After becoming a member at steinfein.org just click on Blogs and follow the on-screen prompts. You can either create a new Blog from scratch, or create a new post for your existing Blog. You can also edit your Blog posts. The included text editor provides functions for including links, pictures, changing font styles, colors, formatting, and so on. It's all pretty simple to use. Just play with it and you'll get the hang of it after awhile.

We actually struggled with this decision. The bottom line is simply that we believe we have so much more to offer here, including peace of mind due to lack of advertising promos, that we feel if you like it or love it here, you won't have any problems getting those who are close to you, to join you here. Steinfein.org is not "just another community" and we feel that our members will figure out pretty quickly that no other site offers the magnitude of what we have to offer free of charge. If you truly "must have" that other community account on that other site, it really shouldn't be too big of a deal to log in over there as you used to do before. Eventually you'll make up you own mind where you really want to spend most of your time. When that happens, the "quick connect" feature to another community will pretty much become irrelevant to you anyway.

Steinfein.org is a people friendly site where individuals can meet for personal reasons, to entertain themselves or others, as well as to meet new acquaintances or friends. We understand that individuals also happen to own businesses, but blogging is 99% prohibited for business accounts. If you want to advertise your business for free you may do so in our free ADVERTISING section. In our main menu at the top, look at the button entitled MORE COOL FEATURES and then click on Ads home. Logged in members may advertise their merchandise and businesses there. New or used, it doesn't make a difference. Pictures may even be included for free. Again, blogging is strongly discourageed for businesses unless it's a comprehensive informational or educational post! Private business Blogs are permitted too. Remember, this is a people friendly site, and not a commercial project site for spammers & advertisers!

Of course! When you create a Blog post, upload your own photos, videos, and so on, there are settings which allow you to choose if you'd like whatever you're doing to be available to members only, to the general public, or to keep what you're doing just for your own private profile (no outside access) for nobody else to see. You decide how you share your content, or if you want to share at all.

There are plenty of ways to figure out if a user account is bogus or not. Country location of the user, multitudes of commercial/web links in the account, lots of missing personal information, are just a few of the signs that determine if an account is for real. We do not tolerate accounts that only serve to promote a few web links for personal gain. SteinFein.Org is a People Community that strives to provide the best experience that anyone can have in a community setting, on the Internet. If you're not willing to set up a proper account - followed by confirming the account via the automatically generated email that will be sent to you, then your account will end up getting deleted. If you don't use your account at all for 9 months, the account gets deleted. Sorry, those are the rules!

Don't treat this community with disrespect. Our automated system warns us when someone joins up with a bunch of missing criteria ... when spaghettit text is added in some of the text areas ... when names only contain two or three letters ... when first and last names are duplicates of each other ... if the account holder is a troll from China or other countries ... and so on. This community is not a joke and it's not your personal playground, to abuse or misuse as you see fit. If you're not willing to treat this community site and your account properly, then you're obviously not interested in using this site and all that it has to offer properly either.

Once you're logged in as a member at steinfein.org you'll see a top menu option entitled Members Only! From there you'll be able to contact either the site Administrator or a site Moderator directly. Just click on the contact link within the members only section. There are also plenty of helpful public areas, such as this FAQ that you're reading right now.

Most of the add-file-functions also have a report feature for those members who are viewing added content from other members if said content has not been marked as private by the profile owner first. Members can report inappropriate content by clicking a button which is located by types of content for that specific purpose. Once that option has been chosen a member will be able to write a brief message about the inappropriate content which will then be automatically forwarded to the site Administrator. This site is a PG15 rated site with a strong emphasis on Freedom of Speech. Please keep that in mind before you report something that you may personally view as being offensive or inappropriate.

It's not permitted, period. Granted, the term "inappropriate conduct" may have different meanings for different people, but if we find members who are obviously lying about who they are, misrepresenting their purpose at www.steinfein.org, or intentionally misrepresenting merchandise that's offered by them ... THEIR ACCOUNT IS BANNED FOR LIFE. It's not even a topic worth discussing. If you blatantly misrepresent yourself on purpose and get caught ... YOU'RE OUTTA HERE !!! We believe in Honesty & Integrity. That's what we expect from our members for everthing that we provide for free. Having said that, don't forget that we're also about freedom of speech. If topics are kept generalized or if a member offers a personal opinion about a topic, even sensitive topics such as abortion, religion, politics, etc. there's a very good chance that their words will be permitted here.

As we grow we'll eventually be in need of more moderators but until then we'd appreciate any donation to our cause since it's quite costly to maintain a fast server, Administration fees, hosting fees, developmental costs of the site, future upgrades, and so on. Anyone who donates $50 dollars or more via Paypal will receive a framed Thank You gift as well as a personal Event Manager account that can be used for business or personal use. It's a very comprehensive event manager with many professional features, extensive enough for businesses, private groups, event sharing, and so on.
